About the Jamathon

Origins

In the r/instructionaldesign community’s Discord server in 2021, an instructional designer who was new to the industry asked the server if there was any sort of L&D hackathon or design jam that she could join.

We realized there wasn’t. So we decided to make our own.

Thanks to ID Discord server members Mikey, Kimpossible, Jon, and ExperiencedID for getting the conversation started!
